Bittorrent video quality

Tivo attempted to record Prison Break but the TV had no input...a sorry situation which was fixed by restarting the Tivo (?!)

Anyhow I downloaded the show and played it with Tomato Torrent. While the audio was excellent, the video was fractal-ized and not smooth at all.

I also d/lded another show which displayed just fine.

Is the video quality due to something on my end or the source of the download? Are there any helpful hints?

Nope it is the quality of the file itself, it was probably compressed. I have downloaded DVD quality video files via bit torrent multiple times.
