Aim 4.7 quitting unexpectedly

Hey,
i have been using Aim 4.7 on my iMac, version 10.3.9. A couple weeks ago it started to quit unexpectedly. I have found that it happens when closing out of a window, such as an IM window or profile. I have trashed the original application/preferences and reinstalled it but it hasnt done anything.

In particular, be sure to try logging in as a different user to see if the problem exists there. (Create a new user via the Accounts preference panel if you only have the one user account so far.)
