Deleting net passwords/cookies(?)

How do you clear your cookies, so all password logins on websites need to be reset?

Is it stored in the keychain, or is there a separate cookie file when the "remember my password for next time" box is checked?

This actually has to be done in the browser. Which browser do you use and on which version of OS X ?

I'm using Safari (OXS 10.4.3) - I found the 'reset safari' button.
