Hello. I was playing around on a Windows computer today (i know...eww) when i was horrified to find that windows supports more bluetooth services than OSX!!! I was bored so i paired my motorola E815 and i was playing with the audio gateway feature and it was a lot of fun. I wanted to know if anyone knows of any way i could get this working in Tiger. Like i said... i was horrified!
Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "audio gateway", but my E815 syncs perfectly in Tiger. Though I don't transfer files, etc. In order to do that, you need to edit the seem, and I'm not brave enough. Look on howardforums.com and check out Yahoo group, maccellphone. Lots of good info there!

The E815 doesn't support Audio Gateway on OS X, some others do. Oddly enough, our Windows Mobile-powered Pocket PC phones do! Still haven't figured out WHY you'd ever do this though, and maybe Apple realized that and just didn't implement it for that reason.
I Have a "verizon" motorola E815 that I'm trying to bluetooth with my Powerbook G4, I have tiger, it recognizes the phone but says that the phone will not allow it to sync,I've spent hours with motorola, verizon and Mac and it sounds like Verizaon has disabled this feature on the phone, any ideas around this problem

Dial ##dialup on the handset, and it will remove the lock that Verizon put in.
