I'm so fed up with mac.com totally erratic and totally unreliable service. I was just trying to go into the support pages to check on a post on their discussion boards, and repeated attempts to access http://discuss.mac.com just dumped me back to the mac.com front page. What the hell?

hmm, perhaps apple has changed hosts? why do you think they have to maintain hostnames that you might know? that would be horribly restrictive if the host went down.

get's there just fine. i don't know if it was previously associated with some other host name, but you can't reasonably rely on that being permanent.

I was accessing the board using the link from their pages, The url above was a typo.
