help please :) Active Directory and max os x

ive managed to connect a emac running os X 10.4.3 i think to Windows 2000 Active Directory..

the server is using a .local domain name..
i can connect but im prompted with a linux like black windows with
username and password..

please help
what do i need to change to get rid of this..

ive configured LDAP and Active Directory..
