Terminal.app

I have a few g4-computers and one of them seem not to like the terminal-app so well. It crashes and restarts the finder every time when i try to open the terminal. I have tried a fresh new install from 10.1 and up to 10.1.5 and the same thing happens. Anyone got the same experiance?
It´s g4/400 and there´s nothing wrong with the built-in memory, i have made certain of that.

anything reported in the system.log when you launch the terminal.app ?

in the finder, hit command-tilde (~) and Go to the folder: [ /var/log/ ]

then open the file system.log and scroll to the bottom. then try and launch terminal and look for germane messages at the bottom of the log
