sorry if this has been covered before. i did a search of this forum on aim and didn't come up with anything.
i'm currently using the most recent aim version for osx. however, it doesn't work very well on my machine. i'm wondering if there are known bugs in the software or is it just something wrong on my end.
my problems (in no particular order):
1) no sound
2) usually cannot initiate an instant message by clicking on the im button or double-clicking on the screen name. the button in the "chat" screen usually does work. weird!
3) recently, i successfully managed to im someone on my buddy list but never received a response. i figured i was just being ignored, but the person later asked me (in person) what had happened because she HAD responded and never heard back from me.
there are probably other things, but those are the major ones. anyone else out there having these types of issues?
