Permanently Mapping Drives

Hi,

I have one question that has been bothering me for sometime now, ...am new to Mac as well.

I would like to map drives permamnetly in OS X....I use the connect to server option, and the shared drives appear on my desktop...but the moment I restart the PowerMac, I lose this connection and have to do it all over again.

How can I have this permanently in place ?...you know, like the "reconnect at logon" option in windows
