Ram question...

I'm building a PC (yes yes i know, but i have 2 macs so that compensates :D) and the damn thing just doesn't want to startup or give me a screen at all. It beeps and such and it seems like the beeps mean that there is a RAM problem.

Now I have noticed one little thing between the MoBo and the RAM. The MoBo says it needs DDR400 with a voltage of 2.5, but the RAM i have is 2.6. Could something like this really cause the thing to not work like that? Or is it something else?

You're probably not going to get much help with PC's here- after all this is a Mac forum ;)

That being said, check with your motherboard manufacturer's troubleshooting manual and memory specs. The number and/or length of beeps is a code for a problem and every vendor is different with their beeps.
