Stay Connected?

Every 15 minutes whilst I'm connected to the Internet, a message keeps appearing asking if I still want to stay connected.

How do I get rid of this box?

I can't seem to find the Preferences file

Running 10.1.2

If I am understanding your question, there is a simple solution. Go to Network preferences. If internal modem is not selected, choose it. Click on PPP options and then uncheck the box that says "disconnect after X minutes." The default I think is 15. Unchecking this box means that you will stay connected until you decide to disconnect (assuming the connection isn't dropped).
