Lately I noticed not all software was showing up in Software Update; Airport update was; language-updates weren't.
I downloaded a language (Brasilean) when it came available yesterday. Installer gave grayed out disks (volume doesn't meet requirements).
I checked the Volume Check file inside the package; it's checking for several things, but also for a file called AppleTexas2Audio.ext inside:
file://localhost/System/Library/Extensions/AppleOnboardAudio.kext/
In that package there's also a (newer) AppleTexasAudio.ext.
The dates of AppleTexas2Audio.ext were more or less the date i installed the 10.1.2Prerelease; so I think it's a bogus leftover from that. I removed the AppleTexas2Audio.ext; and everything was installing and showing up fine again.
