View Full Version : Classic causing disk corruption?

I have been trying to get an answer to this for a while now. I installed OSX 10.1 on a different partition from my perfectly running OS9.2.2.

Booted into OSX, everything was running quite well. I started Classic, and it froze during the startup. and infact took out the Finder as well.

Once I had restarted, the notification came up that my OS9 partition had problems. Disk Tools couldn't fix the 'Invalid Node' message, nor could Disk First Aid from my OS9 install CD.

I had lost over half my disk, including most of my system folder.

I would love to install OSX, but until I know what happened, I can't risk it. I need Classic for Office98, Quicken, a few other things.
