Just thought I'd share this nice program I found for joining MP3s. Previously I've used ReJoiner (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15097) but didn't like how it forcefully integrated with iTunes. I found mp3wrap (http://mp3wrap.sourceforge.net/), a command line app that compiles fine under OS X. When you can't find a native OS X app to accomplish something, or you don't feel like paying for it, it never hurts to head over to Freshmeat (http://www.freshmeat.net).
Just another reason to appreciate OS X. No native app to accomplish something? Check out what the Linux world has to offer.
