Verbose Startup Log ????

Is there a log of what happens at boot? I'd love to see a text file of what zips by on screen when you boot with <cmd> v (verbose startup)

Try "dmesg". It gives some boot-time info.

You need to run dmesg early after the reboot, otherwise its contents gets overwritten by other junk.

Not all of it, but some info is available in /var/log/system.log
