My LAN is behind a Linksys BEFW11S4 4-port Router and 802.11b access point. Other than by logging into the router's status page from a browser on a LAN machine is there any way to get the router's WAN-side IP address from the LAN?

or www.dslreports.com

I tried both (www.whatsmyip.com and www.dslreports.com) and neither showed my IP address anywhere I could find it. Where do they hide it?

How many techies does it take to change a light bulb?
That depends on how many ways there are to change a light bulb.

Amen.

There is a nice free utility that will show the IP address in the menu bar. It's called IP menu and is available here.

Actually there are several utilities that will do this, some free and some for pay. Let's see how many pages of comments we can fill up "discussing" which one is best! :-)

Q: How many software developers does it take to change a light bulb?

A: Screw that, it's a hardware problem!
