2 split monitors with built-in card, g4 800mhz

a friend of mine has a powermac g4 800Mhz and wants to use 2 monitors (split image) with it. now, he says he needs to buy an extra video card, cos the one he's got (ati 3d rage aty, lt-c) is not supported in OSX (he was running os9 til last week). the standard built-in video card in the machine has a "mac" output and a VGA one, so: isn't that enough to do what he wants w/o wasting a fortune on a new video card for an old machine???

No, even though that card has two video ports, it only supports one monitor. Get a new card, check ebay. ATI 8500 is a good card with dual monitor support.

Or even the radeon 9200 pro 128 works well
