adsl with wireless and iBook

Hi All,
I´m hoping someone else´s had this same problem. I´m trying to use a wireless (not Airport but TP link) through an adsl modem. The iBook finds the wireless, but adsl and the wireless doesn´t "hook up". Tried with WPN and 802.1x but can´t make it work.
Anybody else come a cross this prob. or have a suggestion what to do?

You are going to have to explain further - with much more detail about what you have and how these things hook together.

If you previously had to use PPoE on your Mac to connect with the DSL, you need to setup PPoE in the router.

If your provider set your DSL modem to connect with your computer only, then you'll have to set your router to clone your computer's MAC address.
