I am new 2 MAC and is in the process of purchasing the 12" ibook. Need some suggestions or feedback from those of you who own an ibook. Thanx

What sort of info are you looking for?
Only thing I would recommend is to get lots of extra RAM.
OS X really thrives when you have lots of RAM.
How much to get depends on what you will be doing. E.g. PhotoShop takes much more RAM than MS Word.
I have 768 MB in my iBook 1.2 MHz G4

I don't own an iBook, but I'd suggest buying the AppleCare extended protection plan for any Apple computer you purchase. It's a relatively low price to pay to protect your investment.

I got one for Christmas and love it. I haven't upgraded the RAM yet... the wife figured (correctly, which is lucky 'cuz she's a PC person) that the Apple prices were too high and I could add more myself. Which I intend to do with the tax refund... I'm gonna go ahead and max it out. I also might get the little BookEndz docking thingamajig I've seen for it.

Anyone know of a good, small, preferably custom-fit carrying bag for these things? CompUSA has one by Brenthaven I think, but they want over $100 for it. That's nuts.

Look on eBay and price search sites on the internet. I saved several hundred dollars on my 17" Powerbook compared to retail.

I have Apple Care, and just added 512 megs to my iBook G4 1.33......Seems that OSX 10.3.5(7) worksmuch smoother with the RAM addition......
