Uninstalling FINK

Hi,

How do you go about uninstalling FINK?

I know to uninstall X11 you can do the following in the terminal:

sudo rm -rf /usr/X11R6
sudo rm -rf /etc/X11
sudo rm -rf /Applications/X11.app

Can I just throw the 'sw' folder in the bin to remove fink? is there an easy way to remove the .whatever files created in the home directory?

Any help would be great,

Just run:

sudo rm -rf /sw

And if you use bash, don't forget to remove:

source /sw/bin/init.sh

from your ~/.profile or ~/.bash_profile file.

Or if you use tcsh, remove:

source /sw/bin/init.csh

from your ~/.tcshrc or ~/.cshrc file.
