Very strange sharing problems HELP !!

Hi everyone !

I'm having following big problem :
When I set a share point under OS X Server and assign a group to that share point, it doesn't work ! It did work in the beginning but now it don't. First I set up a share point and saved and closed the window, but when I opened "Show Disks & Share Points" instread of my group it was just saying "unknown" !

Somebody told me that it could be resolved using NetInfo Manager and the terminal but I'm new to OS X Server and don't know how that would be possible....

Have you tried log out and back in, or even restart? If that volume is not system volume, is "Ignore priviledge" check? Try using "chown" in Terminal.

I tried to logoff and even restart the server but it wasn't that.
It was like you said in the "Privileges" tab of the disk. I just had to uncheck the box "Ignore privileges on this volume" and it worked fine.

BTW, how would I have done it by using the chown command (please step by step)

Hey, it was the first time I post a thread. Glad it helped somebody. As for the "chown", it was just a guess, pls ignore it.
