Power Mac G4

When I boot the above machine I get a grey background with a little square in the middle of the screen. I am a new MAC user so any help would be much appreciated.

Does the little square look actually like a rectangle with a flashing "?" inside? (Btw, it's "Mac" not "MAC")

And, please provide some more information. There were many G4s sold over the years. Please tell us the specs on this Mac.
