I see the word "Prospect" underneath my name when I post. What does it mean ?

perhaps it means prospector, digging for gold nuggets

But I think the 'ranking' system will become quite apparent in a relatively modest number of additional posts by a couple of people (at least one of whom is posting in this thread, and it's not me! ;-).
