AFP guest login

I used IE to connect to a shared volumes via Appleshare for creating a .afploc to put into my Login Items pref pane, so i can automount a volume at startup. "afp://username:password@server_name/volume" works great but it uses registered access, which i dont need because guest access is ON on my server. I tried leaving the "username:password" part blank but when i do this, a window comes up and ask me for my name and password or to check the Guest option which i dont want to see.

Anyone knows the complete URL to access a shared volume in GUEST mode via Appleshare ?

Close, here is an accurate URL. You don't need the username or password bit from above.

afp://;AUTH=No%20User%20Authent@server/share/

Replace server with the server IP number or DNS name, and share with the share name, e.g. Macintosh%20HD
