Internet OS X site requested can't re-find!!

Hi!

I was at an OSX homepage some weeks ago - it had all this tips and hints in making especially the appearance of OS X different. All those "log in as root and change"-hints!!! But I can't find this page any more! It had topics in the upper part of the page like "Desktop" (to change appearance of desktop) and "Dock" I think. Does anyone know which homepage this might have been?

I thought it was macosxhints.com first but then it didn't have these different things I was looking for! :(

btw you don't happen to know another site I've lost adress to, which has pictures of desktops with different mods installed!? It also describes what the installed mods are...
