how to change startup chime?

Hi,
I would like to replace my default startup chime with that of the so called "Twentieth anniv. Mac" from 1997. The chime can be heard in the nifty app called MacTracker, so I will find a way to extract it, by hook or crook. But I suspect the 'replacing' part will be the trickiest; has anyone successfully done it?
