Console Font Size/Color

Can the Font Size/Color be changed in Console? When logged in as console the black screen is ok, but the small white font is tiring. TIA...vDog

What are you talking about? The console has a white background with black writing.:confused:

If what you mean is being logged in as >console, I've never seen anyone change the font, background, or other properties.

You should be able to use ANSI escapes but they seem to be kinda broken on my machine. Heres a nice list

Does anyone know what Apples Control Sequence Introducer is?
I have figured out that the startup console is zsh so some of this could be put in roots ~/.profile. If you login at the console i believe you get tcsh or bash whichever is your default. Oh and don't ask zsh to do too much as it will seg fault.
