The rubber feet came off my Powerbook G4 a few months ago. Any idea how to get replacements or build some myself?
Also, the latch somehow busted so I cannot close my unit and put it to sleep when travelling. Any idea where to get that fixed aside from sending it off to Texas?
I'm in LA Area right now if that means anything.
Thanks!

I'd try Radio Shack and some krazy glue for the feet. They always have cool little things like that.
Don't know about the latch.

Any AASP (apple authorized service center) can get you those parts or at least order them for you. The latch is going to be the hardest to replace, so you may look into having someone do it for you. I would recomend you not krazy glue the feet, replacement ones are not that expensive.

Here is a link to locate a service provider in the U.S.

Whey the rubber feet came off of my 12" PB, I went to Target and bought a pack of 3M "surface protectors" (= rubber feet) for $2.50. The added distance from the table surface keeps the PB much cooler.

Good idea; are those the things one wouldn normally use on the feet of chairs or tables so as to not scratch their floors?

Exactly. Some are made of some kind of fabric and others are made of clear plastic.
