When I used Snow Leopard I had the desktop picture set to rotate through iPhoto pictures. There are so many iPhoto pictures that it is impractical for me to identify and face-recognize all of them so I would do this based on the rotating desktop pictures, as a casual thing. I had an applescript (see https://discussions.apple.com/message/17258180#17258180) which would go from the desktop picture to its location in iPhoto and I could edit the information in iPhoto for that picture. It worked well. With the transition to Lion however it appears something has changed in the infrastructure of the desktop picture system and my script no longer works. I have tried several ways to discover how to identify the currently-displayed desktop picture in a way that will allow me to find it in iPhoto but nothing works. Can somebody suggest a way to do this?
