Internet connections for two!

We have two (actually three) computers (MACS) in our house and sometimes have a conflict when more than one of us wants to use the internet.
I (Carl) think I read somewhere that we could both be logged on at the same time. She (Collette) thinks I an hallucinating (seeing things).javascript:smilie(':rolleyes:')
Did I? Where? Can it be done?
I won't mind if she is right, but I would rather be able to do it.

Joking aside, sure it's possible, but how depends on what kind of setup you have. Broadband or dial-up? Are you willing to use a router or do you want this all to be through 1 computer?
