My colleague just introduced me to Photographer’s i Magazine which seems to me to be the first, properly for-tablet photography magazine and is a joy to use. With design and functionality in mind, the creators have made the most of the multimedia capabilities of the iPad (something in the past that has been ignored!). It includes articles by top photographers come to life on video, you can hear them talk about the creative process in audio recordings, and it couldn’t be simpler to use with easy, interactive tutorial. It’s a revelation, and presents content in a manner that the iPad was clearly designed for. Instead of evolution, this is revolution. Perfect if, like me, you are a photography enthusiast.
The App itself is free, however the downside is content will cost. The first issue comes at the special introductory price of $1.99, further issues I think will cost around $7.99.
Well worth checking out though if you’re into photography! The app is under ‘photographers I’ on iTunes.
