iTunes occasional silence

Hey all, Im new to the site and it looks really cool! My question is about iTunes having this little issue with occasional silence that lasts about 5-8 seconds. If I back the file up and play it again, it plays fine. It's just really annoying when it happens.

Also, it doesn't seem to make any difference whether or not the system was just rebooted, or its been up for a week. Any ideas? Thanks!

I get this too on both my PowerBook G4/867 12" and my PowerMac G4/867DP MDD tower.

Please send iTunes feedback to Apple at their site.

I've already sent them feedback. I was thinking it might be because I am running a 700Mhz G3, but since you're running a G4 and having the same problem, I feel a little better! :D
