DSHwrd's posting about his intriguing new application, IdeaSpiral, prompted this poll. When we created the site, we didn't consider OS X related software announcements. So I thought I'd ask what the readers would prefer. Please take a second and answer the poll ... here's what each choice on the poll represents:
No software announcements allowed: That's what VersionTracker and macosxapps.com are for; keep the forums for discussion only.
Create a dedicated "New OS X Software" thread for tracking releases: Only new OS X software would be listed in this thread, allowing authors a spot where they can announce new stuff. This would also allow readers who'd rather not see such announcements to easily skip the thread.
Let announcements flow into The Coat Room: Don't change anything; just let the authors post their announcements into The Coat Room.
Other: You have another idea for how to handle announcements. Please post your idea as a reply to this thread.
