I have OSX 10.1.2 and want my machine to act as aTCP/IP server with my other OS 9 iMac, so i can ise some games that run only at TCP/IP.
I hace both connected via a croos ethernet cable.
Also i want to share my USB Epson 740 printer at the OSX machine.

I setup the Apache and activated the PHP, so i hace an IP number to see my webpages locally so i cn se how php processes my pages without haveng to upload them. My address is 127.0.1.1.
Questions:

how can i acces this ip from classic so i can test my pages in older browsers?

how can i change that number

how can i reech that adress from my other iMac

tahnk you

You should be able to access it from classic just by typing in either http://localhost/ or http://127.0.1.1/ as the URL for your browser.

You can change the ip address by going to the Network Preference Pane, selecting TCP/IP and changing the pulldown Configure: menu to Manually. Then, enter whatever address you'd like in the IP address field.
