I don't know much about PC gaming, much less PC gaming on a Mac. But, I'd really like to get MLB 2K11. Is there any chance this would run on a Mac with BootCamp or anything like that? I have a Macbook Pro, 2.4 ghz core duo, with 4 gigs of RAM.

I don't always know what a "PC game" is - but, I'm guessing you mean a game that needs MS Windows....
Boot Camp doesn't allow you to run games of any kind. Boot Camp's purpose is to allow you to create a separate partition where you can install Windows. So, you will need to purchase a full install of Windows (not a Windows upgrade). Run the Boot Camp utility, and follow the directions to install Windows.
After Windows is installed on that second partition - that's where you can install and run MLB 2K11

there is a app called crossover (http://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover/) that will cover your need for PC gaming..

Crossover may handle MLB 2K11. The developer's compatibility page (http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility) doesn't say anything about whether the game works or not, which simply means no one has submitted reports based on experience. This isn't surprising since the game is brand new. synecdoche, if you get the game, it would be worth downloading the trial of Crossover and seeing if using it works. If so, then you may want to pay for a full license of Crossover. If not, then the Boot Camp method that DeltaMac described could be taken.
And while I couldn't find official PS system requirements, note that your machine has a Core 2 Duo processor, not a Core Duo. What you have is significantly more powerful.
