Can anyone tell me the name of a website that allows you to pull the audio from a youtube video? I've tried the ones like listentoyoutube.com but they just get you all tangled up in pop up ads.
There was one mentioned in a macworld article from a recent issue but can't seem to recall what it was.
Any ideas?
Thanks

There is software that will do what you ask. Look at YouTube-Downloader.

Or you can copy the clip from Safari's Activity window and paste into the Downloads Window. Once downloaded, you can strip out the video with any number of free software apps such as Movie Tools.

i'll check that out but there was a web-based site that allows you to plug in the website URL to pull the audio out. I'd like to figure out what that site was.
Thanks for help.

As I mentioned in the original post, I've tried listentoyoutube.com but it's no good unless you like pop-up ads.
Thanks though.

www.similarsites.com puts www.youtube-mp3.org at the top of the list for sites comparable to listentoyoutube.com. I don't use it myself, but you might give it a try.
