i'm trying to get MySQL to work after installing it with fink.
first thing first, i did reboot, i tried using the safe_mysqld command as well as the daemonic enable mysql both resulted in nothing.
this is what happens
localhost:~$ sudo safe_mysqld
Password:
Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /sw/var/mysql
020221 13:05:18 mysqld ended
what step am i missing?
