Hi all,
This is a thread for database discussion. Not just Database Events, but Plists, SQL, and all those things. I didn't want anything clogging up the DB Events.app info so here's your thread.

This thread is a result of a discussion in another thread - Database Events (http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=111062). The discussion there strayed far from Database Events, so we moved here. You might want to read the first page of that thread to catch up on the discussion on this thread.

We left off over there with well, I'm not sure what's going on with this thread, but I finished the the MySQL scripting library, so if anyone wants to look at (and comment on) it, send me a private note with an email address and I'll email it to you. I'm going to flesh it out so that it can work with sqlite3 as well (I don't know sqlite3 very well yet, but it looks like the changes to the script will be trivial). otherwise I'll whip up some docs and post it over at MacScripter in a few days.
