How do I place a jpg image in a Pages File

I have an iPad and have purchased the Pages program. I am not an experienced Pages user. I have a scanned jpg image of my signature in my photo library. Is there a way for me to paste it into my pages document?

There's an icon on the right side of the toolbar (looks like a mountain with the sun in the sky), just to the left of the wrench. Click that (the rest is pretty intuitive).
