Is it possible to use my mac's airport inside System 7? I'm virtualizing it with Basilisk II, and I'm hoping I can get wireless from there.

Most likely no, there is no driver support for wireless until I think OS 9.2

The original iBook would do wireless from OS 8.6
But, won't help with trying to use wireless in System 7

I've never been able to get any kind of networking to function in Basilisk II, only in SheepShaver. That includes standard ethernet.
I always assumed that if I did, it would have very little to do with how the actual physical Mac does its networking and more to do with how to convince the Basilisk environment to speak to the surrounding "real Mac" environment's network via eth01. (No luck with that so far).
I use the X11 Basilisk, what version are you using?

There is a version of Basilisk II specifically for OS X that doesn't use X11. Ethernet works just fine in that for me. In the BasiliskIIGUI there is an option to set the ethernet interface to slirp.
From the looks of their website, it seems like you're using a version meant for Unix systems other than OS X?

I'm aware of the Aqua Basilisk II version. I never got that version to do more than begin to start, and then it would crash. I had built the X11 version long before the Aqua version became available so I just shrugged & kept using the X11. It would be kind of cool to have networking, even though I wouldn't use it for much.

It's slightly pointless. There isn't a browser for 7 that will display most sites correctly anyway.
