Hello All,

I have 2 UFS partitions on one of my hard-disks. They were creating using Mac OS X 10.5.
On installing 10.6 on the same server, the 2 UFS partitions are no more mountable. I have a dual boot system 10.5 and 10.6

When I again boot into 10.5, the UFS volumes are usable, but fail to mount on 10.6

#diskutil list : This shows bot the UFS partitions

However when I mount I get this error:

# diskutil mount disk3s7
Volume on disk3s7 failed to mount

Any help/suggestions ?

Are you by any chance running 10.6 in 64-bit mode?

Yes I am using 64-bit 10.6

#uname -m
x86_64

Should I be using 32-bit mode for UFS ?
