Hello,
I'm attempting to setup virtualhosts on my server. My DNS hosting service points to www.onlymacintosh.com and jon.onlymacintosh.com. The VirtualHost directives are in /usr/conf/access.conf (i tried them in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf too) but when I attempt to load the different sites they all come up as the main www.onlymacintosh.com site. The config is:

NameVirtualHost 24.216.107.7

<VirtualHost www.onlymacintosh.com:80>
ServerAdmin bpack@netwk-innov.net
DocumentRoot /home/sites/www.onlymacintosh.com/root
ServerName www.onlymacintosh.com
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost jon.onlymacintosh.com:80>
ServerAdmin bpack@netwk-innov.net
DocumentRoot /home/sites/jon.onlymacintosh.com/root
ServerName jon.onlymacintosh.com
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost boo.onlymacintosh.com:80>
ServerAdmin bpack@netwk-innov.net
DocumentRoot /Users/boo/Sites
ServerName boo.onlymacintosh.com
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost www.beckiepack.com:80>
ServerAdmin bpack@netwk-innov.net
DocumentRoot /home/sites/www.beckiepack.com/root
ServerName www.beckiepack.com
</VirtualHost>

I tried it with and without the port number and with specifying the IP number of the server but nothing works. Any suggestions anyone?

thanks,
boo

I ended up fixing it myself. I had an ip under NameVirtualHosts. I put an * after that and after the VirtualHost directive and it all works now.

thanks,
