Are aluminum PowerBook and iBook LCDs interchangable

I'm looking for an LCD to fit inside a 1.33G 12" Aluminum PowerBook. Almost all of the sites out there are indicating, at least by part number, that the LCDs aren't compatible. I'm talking about **just** the LCD.

In any case, I went to one site and it (and only it) stated that the LCDs they had would fit all Aluminum G4 12" PowerBooks AND all G3 and G4 dual USB iBooks.

Anyone out there know if the two are really compatible with one another?

I suspect that that company you found are charging the same price for all of their LCDs for 12" Macs and will send you the appropriate screen for your computer.

You can usually find exceptionally good prices on replacement LCDs on ebay. Just be careful to purchase from a seller with a great rating.
