I bought a MacBook Aluminiun - Intel Corel 2 Duo 2Ghz - 2GB RAM with Mac OS X 10.5.5 two weeks ago. And, since I bought it, the same problem/issue occurs. When I open any picture or video (especially with dark background), the screen shows any kind of "interference". Horizontal colored lines. The problem can be viewed at this address, when i post two examples to best describes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5agNdhj82DU or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5OVSrGYh5E
Does anyone know what can be this? How to solve?
Thank you!

Have you shown it to the place where you bought it and asked about this issue?
Trevor
my initial guess would be a hardware problem - have you tried running the hardware tests that come on the second install disk? but it is odd that you'd only get the problem viewing videos or images, because that would speak to a software issue. does it only happen with certain applications?
I had a laptop with that problem. Sent it back to Apple, and they replaced the display and the MLB. If you drag any of your windows around, do they deform? When I would move mine around, the window would get sliced into a couple pieces.
As a side note, 10.5.5 seemed to be pretty buggy to me, you may want to try downloading the Combo updater for at least 10.5.6, if not 10.5.8 before anything else.
